TERRAZZO
Terrazzo is a flooring material consisting of chips of marble or granite set in concrete and polished to give a smooth surface
Precast
Precast terrazzo shares the same properties as a poured-in-place terrazzo floor. To form precast, a combination of aggregates is used with either an epoxy or cement binder. Typically precast is created into a prefabricated mold, which is removed and cut to precise dimensions and polished to a quality finish
Concrete
Simply put, polishing concrete is similar to sanding wood. Heavy-duty polishing machines equipped with progressively finer grits of diamond-impregnated segments or disks (akin to sandpaper) are used to gradually grind down surfaces to the desired degree of shine and smoothness.
Tough jobs require tough equipment, with such tasks as polishing concrete to heavy removal no matter the machine type you can bet repairs will need to be done.
